Will joining a major alliance effect the chars price?

Not this toon obviously, but if so, by how much? Say if it joined test alliance.

I've never heard of an increase in price due to corp history. Increases normally relate to the chars reputation or some awesome name. The latter often have limited effect.

However, you can probably loose some value, if the corp history is terrible. More likely is decreasing the value due to being a known scammer.

having more corp history itself does not effect price. however have no corp history or having not been in a corp for many years, will actually increase ur value as there is a market for high sp toon with no to little history.

ofc like the other guy said, if the toon is a known spy, scammer, or plain idiot. then to some that might effect ur price but the majority of people won't go into that much detail when buying a toon

You need to be in a npc corp for the transfer,

I don't see the point.

So no, I don't expect any added value.
Perheps even loss, because other alliances check history and it might get the char banned form other them.

i think what he meant would it hurt the toon because if say the toon joined an alliance with a certain reputation. would that devalue it.

Exactly, I was asking if it would decrease in value if it was in say TEST alliance. Not increase.
