Once again, CCP has scheduled a tournament final for U.S. Thanksgiving weekend. You did this before with NEO 1 in 2012. Remember how well that worked out for your viewership? Can we please not repeat that mistake?

Thanks for the update...

but basically this is a giant "**** Off" to every USTZ team that would like compete.

Weeks 3 and 4 are the week before and thanksgiving day weekend. Most of us have family that will either be visiting, or that we will be traveling to visit.

Additionally, many of us have blackout dates on holidays due to thanksgiving, pretty much guaranteeing that we cannot take time off to participate, if we have jobs that work over weekends.

RIP UStz teams.

Scheduled for the second biggest holiday travel weekend of the year for US players? There goes half if not most of my team! Granted, the odds of us making it to the final weekend are pretty ridiculously low, but crazier things can happen :) [EDIT: Falcon posted as I posted this that they are reconsidering the Thanksgiving weekend dates).

AND yet again, a ridiculous deadline? Seriously, yet again a deadline over FOUR MONTHS before the tournament starts? What happened to what was discussed during the esports roundtable at Eve Vegas last year? CCP Logibro, please, reconsider the deadline and move it MUCH MUCH closer to the actual tournament date! You know it doesn't stop collusion or "dream team" building or "A"/"B" teams, if anything, it encourages them!

Especially considering that this year's tournament falls on a hugely major US holiday weekend, please let us be able to continue recruiting and replacing our members throughout the tournament season! You know how damaging a ridiculously early deadline like this is to the smaller teams!

I love you CCP, and I love the Alliance Tournament.

Edit again: Isn't Eve London November 5th this year?
Evesterdam is November 12th and 13th
EveDownUnder is also in November, not sure of exact dates.

Thanks for the schedule.

Many of us were really hoping to see rules being announced, with all the ship changes since the previous AT so much is up in the air as to what will be viable this year.

Can we get a date announced by which we can expect this additional information? - Thanks

Will there again possibilities, that the playerbase itself can stream the tournaments? I know that happened the last year as well, since you brodcast only the last 2 weekends, but this time even the first and the 2nd are not broadcasted officially anymore.

Would be nice still to be able to see fights from the first 2 weeks.

Move the deadline plox.
It's summer.
I personally know a few people who probably won't be able to get their characters on the team for the simple reason of being on vacation and unavailable for logging in.

EDIT:

Also plox stream the first 2 weekends. Can do without commentary - just needs to be restreamable.

Still disappointed at the lack of ability for CAS members to fly for CAStabouts.
Since i had expectations of that being a possibility for this one.
