Update to EVE Launcher GUI v. 1.968

Negative. Now it doesn't remember any accounts. And if I check the box it remembers but there isn't ANY credentials check on startup.
The desired behavior is: On startup, the credentials for ONE account have to be entered, then all accounts are ready.

Launcher offers outstanding security for those playing on a computer that could be stolen.

Due to attacks on my networks, I just forced a change to my dynamic IP. Although IPs are generally dynamic, I have carried the same IP for over a year. Today when launching; I noticed again it was prompting me for my user information again just as many of the complaints stated in this forum.



After filling in only one of my account usernames and passwords, it then challenged me with a character name because I had never logged in from this new IP address. I thought okay here we go.... After filling in only 1 character name, POOF! All previously add log-in data was instantly restored. Not only for the account I logged in, but for all accounts on the system.
I should mention that I do have remember my info checked, so even if that is checked and your system leaves your home unexpectedly, it stills seems to offer protection. I like that.

Way to begin turning things around CCP. NICE!

Bottom line: If you never tell it to remember your settings, don't complain when you need to re-enter it.

All accounts were gone, but when I logged in 1, the others all appeared.

When I open launcher, all accounts show up like this but then it blinks a couple seconds later and shows just two accounts or the account name and password fields.

Also does it if I touch anything other than a play button

Singularity login for one of my accounts says the verification code is mismatched. The verification code for that account works on the EVE support site and the Tranquility login windows, however.

That is an old version of the GUI (1.971) We are on 1.982 at the moment.

That is an old version of the GUI (1.971) We are on 1.982 at the moment.

you're right, it's an old screengrab and I only meant it as an example of the account layout. I'm on the latest launcher ver.

Completely at my wits end. Have tried to install the new launcher half a dozen times now.
Have followed the CCP instructions to the letter.

Have even resorted to reinstalling system images and trying the process again.

If I can't resolve this by 30th then I'm gonna have to say goodbye to Eve since I can't launch the bloody thing!

Is there an issue with upgrading the launcher or is it just me?

After my installation, the launcher did take an unusually long time to launch, but just the first time. Try to launch it then walk away for a few minutes, I think it was like 1.5 - 1.75 minutes to launch first run.

I'm starting to worry that I wont be able to play eve after the 30th, the new launcher has not worked for ages, and no updates ever work. My bug report has gone unanswered for months.

Twisted My launcher launches NOTHING any more.

Cannot play - logged in this morning, now it's completely broken after I click play, it goes into Nirvana and does NOTHING.
Logged out, reentered my login and password, still does not launch the game.


Verified indexes, still not working - wtf is going on?
