If a titan fires alone in the great wildlands, does it make a sound?

so after:

-removing AoE DDD
-renerfed DDD to hits only Cap ships
-nerfed drone bay
-nerfed total Hitpoints

you want the high-end ship of all the game to be what? used to jump-bridge, shot DDD and then just sit like a potato in the middle of the fight?

No sense.

And Yes, this thread can have some sense only if we start discussin about the Leviathan

Yep. The 3rd most expensive ship class in the game is a hauler.

Titans are a silly class of ships that really had no good reason to be introduced aside from the Titan bridge. Everyone's known they were OP, and they should go the way of other OP things. Nerfed with no recompense to the pilots. T2 BPO owners saw their profits slashed, R64 Moon owners, Levi BPO owners, etc, etc, etc. It's simple really, invest in OP things and hope that CCP takes their time to fix it, so you get your money/SP's worth.

Supers probably can go as well.

Basically, if you have a fleet composition who cannot be trumped by anything other than a Bigger fleet of the same composition, there's a problem.

But that much nerfing is never gonna happen all at once. And I accept that. So start with some tracking nerf.

titan tracking is fine.

Sig res plays a huge part.

That's the problem, titan sig res is too low. The +600% damage hull bonus should also come with a +600% sig res penalty.

No, it's that sig res SIMPLY STOPS MATTERING when your targets aren't able to maintain transversal on you AND all 20 of your Titan-flying buddies. Penalizing sig res of Titan guns simply won't do much about the situation.

This is not how the tracking formula works, increasing the sig resolution can make huge differences.

i.e. a battleship with a transversal of 0.002 would have its chance to be hit cut from 90% to 20% if the sig radius on the titan guns were just increased by 300%.

Where as right now you need to move at a massively unrealistic 0.007 to get the same speedtank out of a battleship

Ever been or seen fight out there? Bubbles. If the pod has to slow boat 20-100k to get out, civilian guns with no skills and all the booster penaltys will work, also lock time becomes moot.

Also it's a *choghdeathstarchough* what did you think it dose to other ships, one cost that much time and isk.

The Death Star was blown up by an X-Wing. The Death Star 2 was blown up by the Millenium Falcon. See that happening to a Titan in a supercap fleet?

Sir you are useing wizards and thats cheating.
There is no wizard module for the rifter or any other small craft.

I wanted to paint my space ship red, but I couldn't find enough goats.

There were no Jedi on the Millennium Falcon when it attacked the Death Star 2.

I agree tracking on titans is an issue.

Bring back remote tracking links, fleet boosting and support from other ships to titans!!!

But they were around and wizards don't need to be right there to do stuff ask Merlin.

Also Titans should be scary, it takes to much to use them successfully as is.
