Hi, I'm just wondering which one is the best in isk/hr in hi-sec, assuming all perfect skills (connections, negotiation, etc):
1. Distribution Mission
2. Mining Mission
3. Small Mining Fleet (3 - 4 account)

Thanks,

Well, Distribution Missions pay the least amount of ISK because they can be completed rather quickly and don't have much risk associated with them compared to the other Mission Divisions.

As for ISK amount of Mining Missions verses a small Mining Fleet actually getting usable Ores, I would think the Mining Fleet would make more ISK, depending on the type of Ore and the location of course.

The Ore in Mining Missions isn't worth anything and it usually takes more time to collect due to fighting off larger amounts of larger hull class NPC's than what's usually encountered in regular Asteroid Fields, plus there's the added risk of Suicide Gankers jumping into the mission too. Course that depends on the area / location of the mission too.

Don't get me wrong, I've done some Mining Missions in the past to gain standing with a corp due to Agents location. However if it's corp standing you're after, then I advise doing Distribution missions for the reasons I stated at the start of this reply.

One thing is for sure, definitely keep an eye out and be ready to warp out when someone lands on grid with you, whether it's in a Mission site or an Asteroid Field.

Ask Hillary, she knows...

Seriosly - none of those path are so entertaining, that you will go them for a long. mining missions would be most entertaining but it is still very little payed compared to security missions. I fyou need ISK - go security missions, if you need afk income - mining in 0.8 (better 0.9) space but you will lose ships from time to time, distribution missions are only good for standing boost.

The mining fleet will net you much more. Especially if you find some mining bros that have fleet boosters. With boosts, crystals and t2 harvesters.. a three man fleet of procurers and a hauling alt you can make some decent isk. You start adding in things like ore compression in a POS and exhumers it can really get up there. 3 to 5 billion a week.

All that being said, do some pewpew too. Security missions, anoms... something.

Earning isk is a means to an end... you are making the money to fund something, so find that something you like to do.

Now I do know someone who mines, so they can mine more. Exhumer fleet so big he has to use an obi to even git the ore to his pos from the belts.

The best times I have had in Eve is when I didn't care how much isk I make an hour. For the last three weeks, I have been killing MTUs in one specific system. I might have made somewhere around 2-3m isk in that time but I have definately disrupted some mission runners due to them being afraid to deploy their little friends, lest the big bad Morgan comes to pay them a visit.

Relax, find something that you like to do and do it. It is all about the journey, not the destination.

Distribution missions are for raising faction standings - they are one of the most monotonous activities I've found in Eve (and that's saying something).

Mining Missions are the ultimate in AFK isk earning. If you pick a good corp you can earn some decent isk after you get to level 4, but caching in the LP is a hassle.

A 3-4 account mining fleet will earn you quite a bit of isk over time. I trained one account into an orca booster and industry, and another into flying a freighter. Some ice belts will give you social interaction but many are silent. A solo mining fleet is not run for the social content but it's more interesting because of coordinating the different ships. I only trained miners to good Procurer skills and then moved their training into other activites like mission running & exploration.

You didn't mention it but security missions are the best single account mission isk and they train skills you can take into pvp aspects of the game.

Personally, I like being able to do a mix of activities to avoid burn out and boredem.

The people who push corporation are right about a lot of things, but they frequently miss the point that some people enjoy Eve doing things on their own.

Run a mining fleet & use your "free" ore to build catalysts. Use the MCT alt to gank the other miners, ALL DAY EVERYDAY Twisted
