Is anyone else on Verizon unable to send traffic to CCP?

Oh, ****, I didn't see my Notifications update. I'm glad I'm not alone in this!

I contacted Verizon and they remotely reset my router and modem and then everything was fine. Sometime between 1200 EST and now the problem came back exactly the same as it was before.

Seems more like a CCP issue than a verizon issue. Would be a lot more of an uproar if EVERY verizon user had this problem I imagine.

Well at least its not just me. Second night having issue. Last night was horribly slow. To night I can't get in at all. I get "network error" ever time I try to download the new launcher.

I have Verizon...looks like I am not logging in tonight. Does anyone know if CCP is aware of issue?

[no messageID: xxxxxx] everywhere. mail, buttons, all right click options, etc.. I undocked in something cheap, and could not pan the camera by left-clicking and dragging (instead it created a rectangular selection box). The overview window was also missing entirely. Managed to dock back up, exit the game, and tried to run the repair tool. That sat for a bit and eventually crashed, too.

Eve is the only thing having connection issues, so it might be something specifically involving connections between CCP and Verizon. In any case, I'm going to try to let the repair tool run overnight, and I'm giving up for tonight. I'll try again tomorrow.

I had problems getting to CCP & Amazon's AWS servers via FIOS from Maryland.

I can't even load the image on this CCP news page this evening.

After a reboot, I was able to download the latest EVE update, but I think it was just lucky timing.

Yeah, if I try to go there or to the EVE Updates site nothing loads. It's not just the client.

I was just able to re-download the launcher but the game won't launch.

Hoping this at least means they're close to fixing it.

FiOS in Maryland, still unable to download patches for the launcher or launch the game as of 11:39am Eve time.

Hi,
I have similar case too, cant enter the game, the client stopped at authenticating. after that it said socket closed, its happened after downtime, earlier i still playing before DT. I thought it was my Internet but no, any other thing works fine as usual, browsing, other online game, download etc etc, but i cant enter the game because authenticating took so long, and then socket stopped. I live in Indonesia btw, so with so many cases like this i guess its serverside fault

I was having issues earlier in the week also with other games, i found that my DNS was reset.

go to your network adapter and change you DNS server to googles, its address is 8.8.8.8 and use the alternate of 8.8.4.4
