Losing the IGB. Are there linux alternatives?

Well, after reading this post: https://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/bidding-farewell-to-the-in-game-browser/?_ga=1.245089484.854175620.1463714793 and finding we are losing IGB in EVE. I decided to look into Overwolf (http://www.overwolf.com/). It looks interesting. Unfortunately I can't get it working under WINE (1.9.12). I'll add the console output for anyone interested below.

Do we have any alternatives for the Linux/Mac users?




And for those who are interested here is the Overwolf console output: ((looks like Mono and .net are not playing nice))

Evolve overlay will not work for us either. From their FAQ:

What platforms is Evolve available for?
The Evolve client can be used on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 / 8.1. It does not currently run on OS X, Linux, Android, or iOS. It also does not currently run under Wine on Linux or Linux-like operating systems, although Wine is getting closer to being able to run the client. We intend to eventually release the client for a variety of operating systems.

One option Im leaning towards is a light memory usage browser, since I mostly use the IGB for KOS checks and light market price checking. Accesing dotlan maps and killboards I was already doing it with Firefox, but FF uses a bunch of memory that I'd prefer to have free for the game.

What other light ram options for us? (Also, since I run in fixed window mode, alt tabbing to out of game windows is not that hard, so having a light ram browser that I could resize and not affect my normal firefox would be nice.

It doesn't do tabbed browsing, though. But, that's probably a good thing. It'd really minimize the distractions.

Do be aware you can set wine to use the normal Linux browser - it involves a little bit of registry editing in wine, but it does work.
