It warms me to see young and old players both playing this intelligent game. Most games are pointed towards younger players, but EVE has proven to have unique community, one that will keep the game alive forever! I am only 30 now, long way to go, my dream is when I retire in 35 years to still be playing EVE and show my grandchildren what veteran I am (my character will be 43) Pirate

Good to see there are some other players also drawing our old age pension and investing it in skill injectors.

I didn't expect my nearly 60 year old self to be very remarkable and it isn't.

53, and a proud member of POD (Pilots Older than Dirt). You guys are too. Membership isn't voluntary, it's automatically conferred. Coalition permanent MOTD: "a) Take a bio break before you undock. b) No bio breaks until after dock-- even if it's an emergency."

I'll be 58 in a couple of weeks :) We have a lot of folks over 50 in Signal Cartel and at least a few in their 60s, but also a lot of young players. It's fun to see how everyone mixes so well. I'm convinced that a big reason we've been able to curate our Credo-driven "peaceful space hippie explorer" corp culture is because our members' average age is above the median for the game.

Lost in space, looking for sigs...

I'm 42 as of yesterday , 42 isn't old in EVE, WE are the young whipper-snappers here it seems . Although some nights I do want to yell at people "hey, look at all these young'uns in their fancy new souped up Ortruses and Garmus and Svipuls!. Back in my day you flew a slow assed Drake and LIKED IT!" Big smile

Then again last night on mumble we were talking about age and like a solid 1/3rd of people in our channel were under 24, 3 of them were like 19.

What a pleasant surprise to see people my age and significantly older rocking New Eden.

I always had this false notion that I was in the mix with primarily university students or twenty somethings.

I'm in my late 40's and it's great to see players still captivated in their 60's.
I look forward to enjoying many many more years undocked.

Unless I'm mistaken CCP said there was an 87 year among us a few years back. Altho no idea if they verified it or if it was just going by age set on the account info.

That could be the 78-year old I heard about soon after I started playing.

I personally know a 64-year old player, and another very entertaining player who's in his early 50s.

Otherwise the players I'm most in touch with are, like me, in their 30s.
