A lot of people have been lying or misinforming new players that use can use a Plex to start an account..
Even some moderators have said it.
I have a trial account and cccp refused to let me use a plex to upgrade my account.

So NO you can NOT use a plex to start an account.

Oh Yes you can!!

Maybe its because you lack a moustache?

More likely you are doing something wrong. Would this PLEX you are trying to use be in a citadel by any chance? They don't work in them atm. You need to take it to a normal NPC station.

they do not do it now.
CCCP refused delivery from amazon.

Hmmm yes you can, you canot however use plex or skill injectors in a citadel for some god forsaken reason.

Thats an issue with amazon then, trial accounts can and do upgrade with plex all the time, literaly every day.

If you are buying PLEX with cash from Amazon to upgrade your account. I can well see CCP having a problem with that, as I'm guessing Amazon has a sale on atm?

Just because you can not buy PLEX does not mean you can't upgrade trial accounts with PLEX.

Just to be absolutely clear you can upgrade trial accounts with PLEX.

I'm assuming that you didnt read the quote direct from the eve site
"Please note, due to trial account limitations you must first upgrade your account to purchase PLEX."
No plex for any trial accounts.
Amazon is an authorized selling agent for cccp.
they are not big enough to do their own distribution.

To upgrade trial accounts with PLEX you purchase them ingame of the market with isk.

Purchasing PLEX with cash just to pay your sub usually costs more and is a silly idea.

I'm guessing the trial restriction on purchasing PLEX with cash is there to stop people taking advantage of cheap limited time PLEX deals to create any army of alts.

Once again. Just because you can't purchase PLEX with cash on a trail account, does not mean trial accounts can not be upgraded with PLEX.

Just take the cheaper option and pay the subscription.

If you don't want it to be recurring, you can cancel it straight away without losing any gametime.

If you can't use your card on CCP's website, well that is a problem with your bank.

Anyways, hope you stick around and you really should grow a moustache.

Sounds like you need an intermediary between your bank and CCP, such as paypal or one of the other approved payment methods.

Upgrading your account from trial is much cheaper (w/ some freebies) compared to buying PLEX even if it's on sale (& ofc allowed).

i know you're new and frustrated but you might wanna check on that attitude of yours or you wont enjoy EvE.

You should listen carefully. The initial 12 moth upgrade offer to the trial account is the best deal in the game. It works out to about $9 a month. Do not PLEX a trial account if you can afford the $99 upgrade.

If you can't afford the upgrade offer, just put in a service ticket, they'll help you.

Use paypal, or better yet, a credit card. Pay with a credit card, pay it off in full every month and get extra cash through points.

Not sure why anyone uses debit cards...I got $1,300 in free airline tickets last year through credit cards and never paid anything in interest.
