Probably been discussed before I'm sure but I have been out of the game for about two years and would like to know what you think? SETH here has strong drone and sub-caps skills. I'm kinda leaning towards Gallante tbh. Thanks for any input ahead of time! SETH

caps meta is now shifted towards shield caps.
aka chimera and nidhoggur.

obviously you need a good pilot before a good ship.Pirate

Minmitar are the best for pve

PVP it depends on your logistics, but the ehp will matter more favoring amarr/caldari. As stated currently the "meta" is shield, making caldari most favorable.

Enjoy your drones being permanently ecm scrammed though

Gallente is going to be a very strong armor carrier designed for grid control in capital battles.

But let's be honest, Chim beats them all by far.

Edit: After you're done training Caldari Carrier, add Gallente Carrier to your portfolio. Guristas Carrier sounds like it might become a powerhouse, come faction caps.

Check with your corp if it's for pvp.

For pve .. whatever the hell you like the most.

PVP check with your corp/alliance.

PVE: The Nid is number 1 with the thanny number 2.

Why Nidhoggur over Chimera for PVE?

1) nid and thanny have 5% damage bonus, the extra ehp means **** all in pve
2) the nid has 5% speed bonus. These together give fighters quicker engage, more kill power, and faster recall for refuel/damage.

Capitals have enough tank with just a rep to cream through almost all pve content, so getting more dps/effective dps is best (nid rules this category)
