Returning player: a bit lost on what to do

Hi all,

Long story short, I am not a new player, but recently returned. I've played on and off since around 2006/2007 but I haven't played in over a year. Last thing I did was to get myself a new account and enough Isk by selling my characters to afk train for around 6 months.

Fast forward: I have [this](http://eveboard.com/pilot/Captain_Soju) character who is a near if not perfect SB/Tengu pilot and I just came back to the game

Problem is: Even though I am aware if multiple activities I could be involved in, I'm not really sure where to start.

Before I stopped playing:
1 - I had done some exploration/Hacking which was ok because loot was worth it sometimes.
2 - I did WH hunting in a nemesis which felt a bit tedious because i could rarely find targets.
3 - I had done lvl 4 missions in a tengu, even though it got boring fast.
4 - I had tried mining in a mackinaw in a previous account, also got boring fast.
5 - I joined a large corp and lived in null, did some pvp, joined sb runs but i ended up doing my own thing (exploring/sb'ing)
6 - Then, I afk trained for around 6 months until my sub expired.

That's pretty much some of the things i did before I stopped playing. I'm finding that I've tried quite a few things which i ended up getting bored doing but not sure what has changed since 1-2 years ago. Have any of the activities above changed substantially since then?

Also considering to sell my character and start fresh, with a good amount of Isk to keep me covered for a long time. But the fact that could have 16-20Bil Isk may what actually be what's holding me back from experiencing the game all over again.

Thoughts, suggestions?

Lowsec pirate?

Domination Nephilim - Angel Cartel

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*

Have you tried joining a WH corp? It makes finding targets in WHs a lot less tedious

One new thing is the rise of the NPSI communities, you may checkout Spectre Fleet and Bombers Bar for casual fleet PvP. The things you mentioned have not changed much, relic sites are still profitable though Gurista space is where you want to be these days. For solo PvP lowsec is the best place. Did you try industry and PI? Have some fun and good profits with lately.

Join a corp that offers variety. I prefer smaller friendlier corporations myself.

I've been enjoying a rather lucrative nomadic lifestyle. I'll take a Tengu, equip it with a "travel" fit (nullfier and cloak), and then travel all around low/null with a mobile depot and a combat fit. Whenever I find a DED site worth running, I'll make a safe spot, equip my combat fit and get to work.

A single trip into null can net me 3+ billion isk in loot before I have to fly back due to ammunition or cargo space. The RNG nature of DED sites coupled with the dangers of flying in hostile null/low makes it very exciting and addictive.

Hello and welcome back to Eve.

You mentioned doing level 4 missions. Have you done any Epic Arcs or Cosmos Agents ? The story plots with those are great and they have some great rewards as well.

When I ran Cosmos and Epic Arcs, I mixed in Exploration with it so as to not get bored.

Anyway, hope you have a longer and more rewarding career this time around.
