Hi,

Decided to go for new launcher. Lost all previous settings and was even asked to join aura training. I am all for progression, but did i miss anything that clicking on the new launcher would mean resetting my settings to default? not end of the world, but a real pain in the arse.

Log in and then click on that little gear wheel to to the right of your account name. I guarantee that you haven't checked the little circle in there.

Ta, is there a download instruction manual to understand what all these settings mean? lol I am getting old and senile. I have no idea what to click or not click in launcher settings

Hi, I just installed the new Launcher too and suffered from the same problem with all my settings reset. After playing around this worked for me: If you got the new Launcher already, log in then click on the cog to the right of your user name (NOT the one on the bottom left above the clock), then select Manage Profiles; this should open a window where you get to drag settings from Source to Target; do so then close that window.
Click on the cog again then select the profile (for some reason I had two profiles, an older one and a recent one) and you are good to go.

Your settings are still saved in C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\YourPathToTheGame

You just need to copy your data to the correct directory.
