Installing *just* the new launcher

How do I get that done, the linked on the old one launcher still wants to install a whole client again.

As somebody still using the old launcher, though after a migration of my HDD and as such my EvE-installation to win8.1 I get as much as I will also be unable to login through the old launcher anymore. However the last time I tried downloading the new launcher it started to attempt downloading the whole client again alongside (I stopped at that point).
Was that changed? How will I be able to migrate from the old launcher to JUST the new launcher without having to download the entirety of the game files again (a pain when you're stuck to backwater DSL)? Always had the hope for CCP to include an update call so that the old launcher would update itself into the new one (at the latest point when the new launcher went out of beta (in last December or so?)) but as things read like you're simply gonna cut the wires and be done with it.
Will CCP add an option before 30th June to have just the old launcher update itself into the new one?

Go to https://community.eveonline.com/support/download/ and there is a button there "Download EVE Online" which leads to a 52.3 MB download. The new launcher will use the Download on Demand cache from the old launcher.

Alright thank you, this time it went by without trying to download the entire client again. Can I now simply copy + paste the new launcher into the eXisting install or would that cause issues? And similarly is there a way to uninstall just the old launcher or would simply deleting it from it's EvE installation work? After all that's (for me at least) ~480mb of HDD space which will be useless after the 30th...
