I'm also with Optus NBN (my friend is also suffering the same issues and the same connection), finally managed to log in but random lag spikes make the game practically unplayable, logging in still takes about 2-3 minutes (ridiculously long for my internet connection and PC). No idea what the cause is and no idea how to fix it, if it goes on much longer we will have to unsub or waste money :(
If anyone gets a fix for this yell out, checking this regularly.

Yes changing to 8.8.8.8 or other free dns dos not help. Here is a trace if it helps.

i by default tend to use google over ISP provided DNS

also keep getting pages loading like this in the forums or out right time outs http://prntscr.com/bdx53u

currently watching my wife stuck in a stargate jump for 2 minutes now

edit: it's reassuring to now actually see that people within CCP hierarchy have actually noticed that there are people having issues and are at the very least glancing at the issue

edit2: just for additional information i'm from Australia too on NBN with exetel, though some members of the incursion group i hang out with not in Australia were saying they were having lag issues over the weekend as well

Not sure if I mentioned it by I have an ADSL connection so it appears to happen over NBN and copper and with different ISP's. Lost revenue is now well into the billions of isk. Great game....love to play it but my PS4 will be getting some love until the issue is fixed.
