Faction Destroyers....or more appropriately, the lack thereof

I'll post this here as it's probably been asked before but I couldn't find it and am new to the forum posting thing.

So, could any expereinced members explain why there are faction ships for every class other than destroyers? I'm guessing there is a reason other than CCP hasn't got round to it or can't be arsed.

Can anyone square this away for me please....as I must be missing something here?

they will just be overshadowed by cancer t3d's, we have enough destroyers now imo, think ccp should forget adding anything else to that class till they sort out the current problems within that class

There are no faction battle cruisers either. Or haulers. Or freighters. Or t2 ships. Or t3 ships.

There are Navy Faction Battlecruisers... but they don't see much use as they are much more expensive than their Tech 1 variants and no where near as powerful as their Tech 2 variants.

And none of them really have a strong "gimmick" beyond the standard 50% more HP, extra fitting slot, slightly more CPU and PG over the Tech 1 variants.

So they sort of exist in this limbo between "it might be fun with the right setup... but it is not worthwhile compared to a Command Ship."

There are no T3 battleships either. Or faction carriers. Its simply something they havent implimented yet.

No big mystery, nothing missing here. They just haven bothered making any.
