Hi, I'm having trouble with my launcher not loading at all. It stays on "Checking GUI version" and hasn't moved past that state in the last 20 minutes. On a similar note I cannot access eveonline.com. I can access all other related services such as the forums, and support and so on, with the exception of downloading the launcher as that redirects me to eveonline.com, which I as mentioned earlier can't access. This problem occurs on all computers in my home.

I have checked threads with people having similar or exactly the same issues and have tried some of the proposed solutions without any success.

It worked perfectly fine last night. So as far as I can tell it isn't related to anything I have installed on my computer.

Any information that may help is very much appreciated.

Looking through the logs for the launcher these warnings pop up.


2016-06-01T20:24:05.025Z default warning Couldn't establish gui version
2016-06-01T20:24:05.025Z default warning "Host launcher.eveonline.com not found"

And further down:

2016-06-01T20:24:05.654Z default warning Couldn't establish official version
2016-06-01T20:24:05.654Z default warning "Host binaries.eveonline.com not found"

Which I assume proves that the launcher and certain parts of eveonline.com not working are connected.

After leaving it alone for about an hour the launcher came past the GUI phase and was able to log in, however the launcher appeared to be unpatched and thus unable to enter the game. After closing it down and reopening hte launcher it's back to the initial stage of "Checking GUI version".

Exactly the problem I am expirencing, quite annoying.
Did you find tips on fixes? I have searched abit but haven't found anything useful

It appears to have happened to several other people, I just searched for "Checking GUI version" and found some other threads in which some solutions were suggested. The two cases I've found were there was a solution were however very idividual, in one the problem dissapeared after just waiting about 4-5 days, and in another the problem seemed to have been solved by fiddling with the antivirus. Deleting some files have also been suggested but didn't work for me.

No this was a problem more than 10 hours after downtime. The problem somehow resolved itself after the next downtime and I am still trying to figure out what caused it in case it happens again. So far my only guess is that it lies with my ISO. But for now the launcher is working.
