Ok we now have this thang that pops up telling us we got 10k SP for killing an NPC ship, anywhere, one every 24 hours which is welcome...it really is. However shouldnt the skill points be incremental ie 10k for killing a rat in a Lvl 1 mission and say 20k for a Lvl 2, 3k for Lvl 3 etc with higher XP if ya take down a rat BS etc is a combat site. The effort involved should be rewarded. Just an idea. I dont think this undoable.

Lesson # 54,612 for CCP. when you give people free stuff for nothing, it doesn't make them grateful, it makes them feel entitled to more of the same.

Where is my "thump down" button?
I just liked your post so I was able to unlike it.

While i was (and still am) positive on the recuring oportunity... no way you get xp based on difficulty of the "task". Just for doing it. Next step is to level up after 50 bs kills? :headache:

Add more tasks like "passing a wormhole", "move a finsihed production job from facility to hangar" and so on. But make it the same trigger for 10k. (Bad english: I want to make sure that there are plenty ways to trigger the 10.000 sps / day ONCE, not serveral times).

Just make it accessable for more people without doing "extra" or "odd" things.

Even better idea, just get rid of the dailies they were a terrible idea to start with.

OK got that out of the way.
Since we have them no to scaling them with the difficulty of the task, they are and should be a fixed amount. Why, because that benefits the newer players more than it does the vets, 10,000 SP a day is nothing for a character with 100 million SP but it is a nice bonus for someone with 500,000.

No to adding the dailies to any activity that you can do sitting in a station. There are only two things CCP got right with these the first is covered above the second is that they require you to put yourself and your ship in space and therefore at risk to get them.

make it 100k a day until 15mil SP. Then they stop. Forever.

Split the 100k into 10 activities.

This encourages new players to try things normally outside their comfort zone and reward them but does not break the ******* game in the process

No. I am already forced to go shoot rats on multiple characters to keep up with you and the other players that regularly shoot NPCs. Let's not throw all pretense that Eve is a sandbox out the window by making it necessary for everyone to run level 4 security missions to keep up with the Joneses.

Be happy you have your free SP for doing next to nothing. Let's hope CCP either kills this experiment or at least adds other, non-NPC-killing activities to the roster of things that are so disproportionately rewarded by these dailies.
