Hi all. Anyone experiencing extreme lag in the past few hours? Trouble seems to be with eve only and the forums. Internet connection tested fine. Issue is on my laptop and desktop on both clients (same internet connection).

Some gate changes are taking up to a minute and fleet ops is impossible.

I'm in Australia.

Thanks.

Though that was just me (I hadn't realized I had Steam running update downloads for a couple of my games earlier, so I had just assumed that was causing me the issue). I was getting odd moments 5-15 seconds long of full-blown client "not responding" status. It was happening ever few minutes when I was logged in running an escalation site during an hour session.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

From Australia and I've been getting the same for a couple days, also know of a few others who have been getting the same issues as well. Trouble logging in, client not responding, UI lag at times etc.

We've been having massive lag spikes, Australia here too.

Not sure if there's a node either dead or dying somewhere, but its been the past 24 hours for us. Its only EVE, and the forum is lagging out too.

Not sure what's going on- but its getting worse.

Same issue here - also form Australia. Takes ages to log in and enter the game. Almost every session change takes 30-60sec. Client becomes very slow or non responsive for cyclic 10-30 periods, then appears normal for up to 60 sec then lags again.

Very laggy when trying to do anything on the market, also d-scan causes lag, any type of search now causes lag.

Eve becoming unplayable. Only started last Friday.

All other internet applications working fine....help - I need to kill things and I cannot hunt....:(

Exactly this. Not so good when running incursions in a 3 bil isk battle ship lol.

Still happening.

It's like the whole client freezes for several seconds like it's gonna CTD, the mouse icon even changes to the Windows blue glowing ring, then my frame rate pops back up to 100 and everything's fine until it does it again a few minutes later. Seems like it settles a bit when staying in one system for a while. Opening market window, session changes, and sometimes "show info" seems to agitate it more.

I did check Event Manager to look for any driver or application faults; nothing. Drivers up to date, ran rescache a couple of times, cleared cache and even deleted the old backups, ran a full system scan with my AV and restarted my machine this morning just in case. Am I playing Eve or XCom 2?

Yeah I pretty much did the same. Asked some guys in my Aussie corp if they were having issues but they were all good.

Very weird. Mine seems ok now roaming around in null.

Yea same issues here, was fine the first 3 weeks of me playing then suddenly huge lag issues (no programs running in the background and strong internet connection) currently have a character in space i cant even log onto!
I verified my shared cache and the reset it to previous etc, which worked for about 5 mins and then lag was worse than before
Did a Traceroute check and it seems to be a node issue, not sure if there is currently a work-around in place?

Having issues again. I logged a support ticked. I suggest you guys do the same. Mention your from Australia. Maybe CCP will look into it.

Put in a support ticket a couple days ago about it so the more the merrier I suppose lol. Also been brought up in a reddit thread here with a few having similar problems by the looks. With Optus myself but a couple I've spoken to with issues are on different ISP's so dunno v0v.

so it would be an ISP issue then and not CCP?

Something might have changed the handshake between Optus and CCP, and whether Optus may have flagged EVE as bit torrent traffic or something like that who knows.

We should have a direct connection to the NBN company's fibre optic link via fixed wireless NBN through Exetel.

Anytime I try to log into this forum- it gives me a not responding error. Till I reload it, and then it'll work.

My Eve client will log in, but the black screen when it starts to load the game is very lengthy compared to what it used to be, and when I'm in game it sporadically lags badly to the point of disconnection in a couple of cases.

I can't do my primary moneymaking (read: plexing my accounts through in game time) so if I can't make the isk, I can't plex my accounts, which means I go dark, four accounts out of the game. My husband is the same- he also has four accounts- so he'd be out too.

I hope they get it fixed- I love this game- this is the first real issue we've had with it (except when we had systems that couldn't run it for a while there)
