Is it just me or can we not access the EVE merchandise store?

eve store has not been up for a VERY VERY VERY LONG time!

*Edit* was also way overpriced! high hopes for the next attempt with better pricing but knowing ccp they will balls it up again.

If I remember correctly from EVE Vegas, CCP is working with Think Geek for a line of products.

That December post said they were SO sorry for the delay and would open a Merchandise Store in the first quarter of 2016.

It is the middle of May 2016.

Has there been any more communication on this?

They should at least tell us how sorry they are. Again.
For not doing the thing they said they were going to do. Again.

I think its safe to say the eve store is dead. Wish they could at least put the fan fest stuff on ebay or something for people to buy.

It's being worked on still. There have been delays, but I'm continuing to poke them on it every so often.

the dev blog says they actually decided not to go this route.

from the blog:

" The good news is that this delay has allowed us to take another look at what you all really want out of a swag store, and we have decided we need to be more flexible and agile than originally estimated. With this in mind, we have authorized our merchandise partner to build and operate a dedicated online store for EVE merchandise. We hope that it will allow us to design more cool stuff, make it faster, and deliver it to you at shipping rates comparable to ThinkGeek and other retailers.

They had delays. That pretty much what one dev said when i asked him at fan fest.

They could at least give us an update how much stuff there will be. Maybe it is even worth waiting. But no update in a long time. So, probably it isnt, and because of that nobody in CCP really gives a **** about it. Pirate
