If you're playing this game for 24 hours at a time Ghost of Truth, I dare say that you should find a second hobby to fulfill some of that time, or work harder on the job search. I'm sure that there are plenty of positions out there for someone of your skill levels, don't let the economy get you down!

You think these threads would ditch the term AFK and not bite when it is posted by now. It just leads to 5 Page discussions about how AFK people can not hurt you.

By now their should be a more political name like Invulnerable Cloak Camping. =/

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

Fortunately, Ingvar Angst's proposal to tweak cloaker intel solves that, but for some reason, AFK-whiners are very opposed to the idea.

Cloaked people are just invisible people who have yet to decide if they want to target lock you. Difference between them and everyone else is that they are 99.999% Invincible while they decide on that detail.

Honestly I just find it a shame that such a cool mechanic is wasted on lame Camping when we could have awesome Sub Hunter mechanics.

Like are Forefathers had in World War Two.

If you use euphemisms to hide the fact that somehow you were either ganked by a ship with a cloaking device fitted, or your botting operation was held up by an AFK cloaker for 23+ hours. Then the question still remains. What is the difference between an AFK cloaker and someone who is just really persnickety about kills? Someone just might be at the computer, lying in wait for several hours, looking for the perfect enemy ship to line up the perfect gank. Perfect ganks don't happen every hour, they take time, and some people, like a good angler, might be willing to take that time.

An angler can be sniped while he sits in his cammo waiting for that wily trout.

Now if my boat could not be seen at all, or my hooks, or my line...

Or even, I can catch fish while I'm in bed.

So you still cant believe that I am not a miner dont you?And even more hilariously, I had never got killed by an AFker?Active mining players in my corp did thu and I wasnt there to defend them becasue i cant play 24/7, or able to catch the thief thats hiding inside my house.Adn what the hell an AFker has common with bot hunters anyways??
Also, I didnt know people can be on their computers looking for their pray 24/7....

They are also fairly easy to counter, and as mentioned, by this point we are no longer talking about AFK.
