P2 to P4 factory planet -- when will it bottleneck?

Hey guys, kinda doing some theory crafting. If I have a planet that will take P2 materials, and turn them into P3 and then into P4 materials, is there a rule of thumb of how this will bottleneck compared to my production of the P2 materials in wormhole space?

Like will it it work out fairly evenly, or will I have some room left so I can use one factory planet for two characters P2 production, or will one of these factory planets not be enough for a single character?

This example is for Recursive Computing Modules.

For every P4 factory you need two P3 factories. For every P3 you need two P2. With CC4, my P1 to P3 planets do six P2 and three P3. One planet does exclusively P4.

My suggestion would be to track your input yield over a few days. In my case, it's P1. I built a quick excel sheet to map out my required amount of input for each sub component, then drew up a planet scheme to get to the highest amount of P4 production.

Without knowing what you're making, I'd just say: add up how many P2 factories you have of each type and apply the math above to find your bottleneck. I'm on my phone so I'll cut this short, but feel free to contact me ingame with further questions or if you want help building your own spreadsheet.

I have a planet for each top tier pi starting from processed goods, use the alts on your acc!

I also have cc4 & able to have 5 planets per char (about 2 weeks per char I think)

hourly:
Broadcast node
Nano - Factory
Organic Mortar Applicator
Recursive Computing Module
Self-Harmonizing Power Core
Sterile Conduits

2 hourly:
Wetware Mainframe
Integrity Response Drones

there is no bottlenecking at all so long as you do it right

*contact me in game if you wanna know anything - I love PI, I think its a sector that sums the game up - a fantastic intricate web that makes the mind boggled at how they thought it all up lol

oh and I make a p4 item per planet, the only pain is remembering to go back to import more processed goods - with the drones some have 1 'round' of materials where others need 2, so you can import at 1460 & 2920 per empty Launchpad (once you do that divide by 10 and import again)
