Palua does not work with Wine version

I use a tool called Palua that forces OS X to map the function keys for Windows apps. This allows me to use F1 etc to work correctly in Eve Client however this is NOT the case for the Wine client.

There is an option for Wine but I can't select it and therefore it won't work.

What this means is that I have to keep swapping between Mac buttons and Windows Functions each time I go to use the client or I have to continuously press the Fn buttons before hitting the F1 etc keys.

Is there a way to force Wine to treat the Fn key as though it was always pressed down for Wine?

there's an option in 'system preferences > keyboard' to use F keys as standard function keys

Yeah I was hoping NOT to use that because that affects EVERYTHING but I might be able to get Palua to force the OS X stuff to use the Mac keys.
