Take a look at the list of pilots. I think you'll find some of the names, shocking.

You, Odeyla D'Hanguest and Nauplius were all in the same Corporation?!

Wow. Just wow. What was in the wate....

I'd.. best not comment further lest the Admirals get annoyed at me!

And Eran Mintor, the same Matari "terrorist" who we flew against in the first case, had a change of heart and flew with us in the second OP.

Maybe there was something in the water.

I think that's why, at the end of the day, no matter how far apart people like us have drifted, we have a lot of shared experience. That we've survived, while so many other pilots haven't is meaningful. Yes, like any family, we bicker and fight and occasionally poison each other. But we have a lot more things in common than we realize.

'bout time someone made an Introductions thread.

I'm Persephone W. Norman, explorer, mission runner, and occasional miner when I want to lie back a bit.

I pretty much always fly solo. I've hopped around a few corps since I started capsuleering, but my inability to make myself available on a regular basis made it hard to establish myself to a great degree anywhere. Couple that with constant war declarations, and a noob like I was easily gets discouraged. After I got stranded planetside for most of the past two years and my corp kicked me, I gave up and decided to just stick with The Scope for the time being.

That said, I'm perfectly eager to make friends. In that light, when I pass through starter systems I often volunteer my spare time to help new pilots with things like beating Dagan (where does he keep getting those bricktanked Gnosises?).

At some point I have aspirations to make a name for myself as an explorer, perhaps investigating Drifter hives or something along those lines. If and when it becomes possible to build capsuleer-operated stargates and/or interstellar ships, I'd love to venture forth into uncharted space, but for now I've just been keeping myself occupied building stable income sources.

While I'm registered officially as Gallente, one might note that I'm more specifically registered under "Immigrants." It does sound a bit cliche, but I don't know for certain where I was born or even whether it was in New Eden. What I can say is that it was an underground facility, but I was never informed of its location or owners while I lived there, and afterward I was lost in space long enough to lose track of my location. Architecturally it suggested Angel Cartel ownership, but the activities more closely suggested Sansha's Nation. After I was rescued I spent several years adjusting to "normal" human culture and eventually was lucky enough to gain acceptance to the Center for Advanced Studies. Thus, while I'm grateful for what the Gallente have given me, I don't personally identify as a Gallente loyalist. Rather I consider myself a resident of New Eden as a whole.

To all my proud Gallente enemies, my staunch and annoying Imperium adversaries, and to my frenemy Yarosara Ruil I say lets call a truce.... So, Tell me about yourselves as well! Not an introduction really, but more of a personal thing. Fly safe! o7

You know... I may have misjudge you.

A very nice and refreshing conversation.

While I love your response I do have a Introduction thread Stickied at the top of the subforum haha.

Hey now, Mokk is part of PanFam. It's ok. And besides, I drink far too much for a mere thing called poison to affect my liver.

I should also mention that 'Del and I are cousins.

Hmmm...I wonder if she'd like to visit Fade...

I would like to talk about electronic countermeasures and how I learned to stop worrying and love the jam. ECM is the best offensive module ever. It does no damage but it produces maximum salt. If you do it right, you could farm a theoretically infinite amount of salt from *a single pilot*, thereby overwhelming the demand and crashing the value of salt.

That, in turn, would cause more salt to be produced for you. You could then collect all the salt and collapse it into a black hole, within which, of course, is the IGS.

There's a lot of salt in Saranen right now. I think I'll have to fit an E-War ship and see if I can help cause the salt singularity of which you speak.

Careful. You might cause there to be TWO IGSes!
