Micro jump drive on a Naga?

Hi everyone,

Title about says it all. I purchased a medium micro warp drive for my Naga class battle cruiser and even though I have cpu and power grid to spare it says I can not fit that module to my ship. What gives? I've take. A long time off from the game, and although my fits were never great before I don't see what I'm doing wrong.

With the hit and run design of the ABCs, they decided not to allow MJDs to be fit to them as they would be OP, I agree completely. You can fit them to a combat BC, just not an attack BC.

Thank you. It's very hard sifting through all the eve information on the Internet to find what is current. I don't agree, but I don't design games for a living. Of course the way it seems is allowing a Naga to use the micro jump drive isn't really much different than allowing the Rohk to use the micro jump drive.

The agaility and crazy dps of the abc's would make them pretty difficult to pin down, excessivly so.

On paper maybe, but once you learn how to use the advantages of an ABC, it becomes quite clear how different it is. Of course it's a lot harder to see when using a Naga as it is the gimpiest at what it is made for.

The one factor Ralph didn't mention is the scan res, this makes all the difference in the world when combined with the other two factors.

Sounds a fair assessment from someone much more fluent in game mechanics than I am. I would, however, hope that they add to the item description it can not be fit to attack battle cruisers as right now between the Internet and the official game description it's a touch murky.

I'm not home to check but I do vaguely remember that being noted on one of the tabs (not the description tab, pretty sure it's the attributes tab), if not though you are absolutely correct.

You are correct.

In attributes it says can be fitted to Combat Battlecruiser, Command Ship, and Deep Space Transport. It wasn't until today I realized that the Naga was not a Combat Battlecruiser, but instead is considered an Attack Battlecruiser.

I stand corrected yet again.

untill the mjd came out,
i remember the proposed conversation ,ccp were originaly going to have no restriction but we talked them into it because they would immediately be all kinds of broken.

FWIW, there's not any reason it shouldn't also be noted on the description tab especially since it is such specific distinction between very similar things.

Also, not saying it is but if your motivation for this build is based off recent events, I suggest you talk with Ralph in private, he can give you very good pointers in this regard.
