So, Legion or Proteus?

So, I'm going to be doing some low and maybe null sec exploration in the near future (on a different toon before anyone gets ideas) and obviously, a T3 is the way to go due to their versatility.

Tengu and Loki are right out due to not having racial cruiser V or T2 weapons for either on that char, so it's a toss up between the Legion and Proteus.

The question is, when equally skilled in lazors or hybrids, and having alright drone skills (but not T2 Sentries), which is the best to go for?

What would the experienced forumites recommend?

I know the Legion is certainly the prettiest, but that's not the deciding factor when picking ships in EVE.

Proteus cloaky is best cloaky.

until rails are buffed even more, Legion > Proteus for anything PVE.

I would suggest that the best choice depends almost entirley on the rats in the local space.

Legion - Angel, Blood, Sansha

Proteus - Guristas, Serpentis

Legion on Angels? Are you suggestion HAM legion, or is it because of the Explosive hole?
