Is there still a role for HIC's?

Hello,

I liked the ideal of flying a HIC from when I started eve. I was wondering what sort of role do they play in today's EVE and how has it changed in the past 24 months?

I've not played for a while, and i didn't know if I should go down this route or not.

Well they just got a super buff, so I would say yes

pro-tip, check the change log for what the scripted point can do now.

Very long scram as said, also counters command dessie &^#(ing around with you to some extent.

And if you want to keep moms and titans tackled you know... also highsec mercs use them to counter stabbed stuff.

You can fit a fairly decent buffer(70k +) and tank(large ancil) and still get almost 600dps from a ham fit onyx with an essentially infinte strength scram to 40km. I recon you could do something with this in PVP.

I gather it's buffer buffer buffer with that devoter fit you mention Ralphy, but just to confirm for the mids - is it all scripted sebos? Enquiring minds want to know, thanks! Big smile
