Looking for a change in direction

Hello!

I've been playing EVE solo for a bit too long now, and I'm rapidly approaching a burnout. I think I need a change in direction and reckon my best bet is to find a new corp, so I'm putting myself out there to see what happens. Currently I'm logging in, topping up my skill queue and logging off again. If I'm feeling adventurous I may undock and run a quick mission, or do a bit of mining for an hour, but really I'm at a dead end.

My EVE history has been mainly Hisec industrial/mission running. I joined a corp early on and stayed there for a good while until it gradually fell apart as people stopped playing. Looking back this was the most fun I had in EVE and something I'd really like to recapture.I spent a year running a POS in WH space until I chose to take a holiday on the wrong weekend and came back to find my weapons incapacitated and my shields down to 30% Lol Now I'm just playing by myself and a couple of alts.

I have little to no PVP combat experience but I'm always willing to learn.. trial by fire and all that.. I'm also happy to mine, run missions, the main thing is I'd like to find a decent group of people to do these things with.

At the moment my available online time is extremely erratic so any prospective employer would need to be aware of this. Hopefully this should improve, especially if I do find a decent corp and feel more inclined to log on!

One thing that I do enjoy is Roleplaying. Last year I entered an RP event which I really enjoyed and I'd love to find an RP corp to join. This isn't essential however but would be a big plus in my book.

I hope that's enough info for now, any questions or comments etc please leave a message here or by evemail!

Thanks for reading!

Hey Lord Wamphyri ,

Take a look at Vexil. We are a PvP corp based in NPC null-sec in Great Wildlands. Our corp has been around since 2006 and we have a mix of veterans and newer players. There are over 13,000 kills on our killboard, so if you are willing to learn to PvP, we can help you with that.

We are regularly online during the week and weekends. In addition, most people from the aliance know each other, so we can always get the numbers in fleets.

We do not do blobs. We usually fly small ganks of 5-8 people, up to 20-30 man fleets. We believe it takes more skill to fly in such fleets and find it more satisfying.

We hope to give our pilots different looks at fleet, so we fly black ops, stealth bombers, recons, hacs, strategic cruisers, bc up to fleet battleships. We are trying to get away from the scimi/drake setup (although still do it).

We have teamspeak, killboard and forums. A generally relaxed atmosphere in corp apart from at the business end of fleets. We hope to have a laugh while playing the game.

Website: www.vexil-eve.com

Killboard: vexil.eve-kill.net

We reimburse ships for the newer players, also for logi, dic and hic pilots.

If you're interested, join "VEXIL" channel in game and talk to us.

Best,
Bandog

I know what you mean about burnout, but I got that way about highsec and lowsec altogether. So I formed a corp, and moved to nullsec, with a great alliance. Eve was reborn for me! We aren't a roleplay corp...and in fact, we hate every RP corporation/alliance. Especially CVA. Really hate those hypocritical, NRDS fools.

Uhh...moving on...we're a fairly small corp, so it is easy to get to know everyone, though we're growing quite quickly. We're very active, killing things in the Great Wildlands and spamming local.
We, along with our alliance, The 99 Percent, also shoot goons and TEST!
We have a total loss ship replacement program spinning up for cruiser and below hulls, and will have battlecruiser hulls included in this before too long.

Join our public channel, if you're interested, and talk to some members! Ex Novis Rebus, Om.
Good luck, friend.

The Glorious Revolution is a great (awful) corp, and you should (not) join today, comrade!

You should try out null-sec pvping - it's a great place to start out a new career.
