Some stuff in that sheet don't make sense. MWD bloom is set to 250% and is applied by default to the ship as per the "raw sig" number.

Also, if the blooming is not on the link modules themselves, it means I can use 3 link off grid and suffer no bloom penalty compared to the guy on grid.

Just to add an additional related idea to the debate.

How about a mode thing like T3d's, one mode with Range increase and Sig Increase for System wide Boosting, and one mode for limited range Boosting with no Sig Increase?

With the sig increase based on the number of Link Modules fitted.

Paves the way for meta varieties of link modules to play with Range/Cap usage/Sig Penalty Rates etc.

I think the real goal is to put the 6 link trashboats into a blender and puree them. It's more that you have a garbage fit ship in a place of extreme safety giving you huge advantage and there just isn't a REASONABLE way to kill it.

It frustrates players to be beaten by something that can't get at. That's the real issue. Frustrated players complain. When enough frustrated players complain enough then change happens.

That's where we are I think.

To all you off grid boosters - you had a good run, take solace in that. The 6 link garbage fit booster was emergent game play, but it was crappy enough that a lot of folks didn't like it. The masses spoke (truth) and CCP listened.

Dude - boosters are going on grid. The 6 link garbage fit is over. Pick the 3 you like, add a tank and deal with it.

think back to skynet carriers. they were not op they were easy to counter and they had to risk around 100mill but the idea of a carrier being in system that you could not touch but could kill you was infuriating
