PS: I'm willing to work with the interest rate a little bit of for some reason it is too low for you.

The problem isnt the interest rate, the problem is that this sounds like a scam and even if it were a genuine offer, you come off sounding like a douchebag.

You have 4 billion isk, which means you can afford to lose your rattlesnakes and replace them. And yet you want us to take the risk if you f*ck up and lose both rattlesnakes?

And what if you did lose both ships after running only 1 site? Are you going to come back here saying "Lol i lost both rattlesnakes, need another 2 bill cause i still dont want to risk using my own money"?

I mean that's kinda how loans work. You take the risk and hope that something doesn't happen. You aren't forced to take any loan. You evaluate if you think it's worth it and go from there.

Also if anyone comes off sounding like a douchebag it's you friend.

Thats the point of a collateral. You take the risk but know that even if something does happen, you dont lose too much in way of money.

And in your case, you dont need the loan, which is the whole point.

And yes, thats exactly how loans work, buddy. Dont believe me? Try to go to a bank and get a million dollar loan.

I never really understood the point of collateral. If I had the collateral to give you I'd just sell that instead of losing money on interest and the like.

Sure. And if you need a loan to buy a car, why not just sell your house?

I'm not willing to spend half my total worth on two ships. So to help get started I'm asking for 1 billion ISK for one month with 20 percent interest.

Not to sound a killjoy but if you are not prepared to spend 2B which as you say you will recoup in 2 hours, why should someone else take the risk?

If you have collateral then that's a different story.

Collateral is a method where you put your assets up against the loan in case you default.
The idea is not for your assets to be liquidated.
Liquidating assets can take time and effort, but a collateral based loan can be nearly instant.

For example, I have 47 Quafe Ultramarine ships worth between 3 and 5 bil each. To sell at the 5 bil mark would probably take years, to sell at the 3b mark would take months, but I still have around 200 bil worth of assets that I might want to borrow Isk against.

In a proper agreement the Ultramarines would be held in a secure state (to stop the lessor from selling them) while you work to get the payment for your loan.

Sadly CCP felt that users in eve would be too dumb to understand how this system would work, so they never put it into contracts (tho they did promise it would happen).

So that's the point of collateral, to give you some form of asset (money or other) that you can use WITHOUT destroying your collateral.
