Pretty much what the title says. I decided to try switching over from the closed to open source AMD drivers for my R9 290 on my Gentoo box, to see if I could try out the Gallium Nine shininess and see what performance impact it had. The FPS seems pretty good, but with Gallium Nine turned on all the textures are just black (docked, undocked). Without Nine enabled, the game crashes after I select a character from the login screen. Anyone have any idea what's going on here, or what I might need to winetricks to get it to work?

I am using the new Linux launcher, and I symlinked ~/.eve/wine to point to /usr so I could use my own installed version of Wine (1.9.9-staging) so I could enable Nine. If I use the wine that the launcher installs there, it doesn't have Nine and therefore crashes as described above.

Kernel 4.5.5-hardened-r1

emerge --info
Crash dump without Nine enabled, with my wine and with CCP's

Let me know if you need any other wine logs or anything.

Emerge media-libs/libtxc_dxtn

Texture will be back (s3tc compression is not enabled in mesa because of some patents trolls).

Ahh, that did it! Thanks m8 o7

Note to anyone reading this, I did have to enable abi_x86_32 on that package.
