Citadels: Creation of Buy Orders with Range other than Station

Don't know if this is a Bug or a Feature:

Apparently it's possible to create buy orders in citadels that have a range beyond the citadel itself. I've seen several now. That's great.

However, when I try to set up such an order, it doesn't let me select any range other than 'Station'. Similarly, I can't set up buy orders remotely. The station selection window doesn't find citadels.

It's worth mentioning that I don't have Visibility trained, although that's supposedly not required for setting up remote buy orders at station range or for local buy orders of any range (tested it in a normal station - works at expected).

I suspect setting up a local buy order with a greater range than station requires Visibility, but since I can't be bothered to train 2,5 days into it and spend 7,5M to test this theory, could someone else confirm?

I got this extract from an article written by Rhivre:

"Citadels are also ideal for new traders, as you do not need Broker Relations or standings to benefit from the broker fee reduction. The only issue is that in order to place anything but a station range order from a citadel, you need Visibility (level 2 for up to 5 jump range). I am not sure if this is a bug or a feature, as you do not need Visibility to place ranged buy orders from NPC stations. Visibility requires Procurement 4, and you will additionally need Marketing to list the items remotely for sale in the hubs (this is a prerequisite for Procurement), and Daytrading to modify your remote sell orders. This represents a four-day training time on a new char without implants or remapping."

Hope this helps if you haven't figured it out already.

people need to be able to issue buy orders remotely to citadels that is hurting the traders and owners of large or extra large citadels when will this be changed hell you could create a skill for it if you want a sp sink to be able to do this.

So it's either intended (but not well documented) or a bug. Wonderful.

Thanks for the information. Probably going to bite the bullet and switch training for 2 days.
