Who we are!
Stimulus is New Eden's premier small gang PvP corp. We have a rich and storied history of excellence for over a decade, embracing pitched and exciting battles wherever we can find them. Historically, we lived in Syndicate and eschewed all forms of Sov due to it being the domain of blues, bears and blobs, but found that AegisSov has made Sov fun, and fully compatible with our aims of explosions. While we are a RL first, PvP second corporation, Rote Kapelle punches way above its weight in terms of activity: you won't find any idle chat here about things we never do. From the data CCP released covering March 1st to April 4th, we had the 15th most kills of any corporation*, and the 8th most when normalized for corp size**. Additonally, we aren't bad in the ISK killing department***.

What it takes to join?
There are no hard and fast requirements to join. We are not a training or learning corp and ask that you come to us with a strong working knowledge of the game and core mechanics, though we absolutely are about improving and refining our game. A pilot with 5 million SP that fully understands how to fly tackle, with a killboard that shows all the mistakes it took to get to that point is infinitely more desirable than a 100m SP pilot who fails to understand core mechanics. A desire to excel coupled with a good attitude and a reasonable level of competency are all we ask.

The novelization!
Her grace, the goddess Poitot in exile, lead Rote Kapelle, a small gang pvp corp, through the vast deserts of Aridia to the promised land of Querious. In Querious, you are defined by your actions, your local smack, and the GF you deposit there after a transaction of blasters, missiles, and scrams. Suffer not the politics to live; stake your claim by yourself, and for yourself, and the PvP shall be thine.

Extremely valuable fun clouds have been discovered in the 9MP-KR constellation which have created a gold rush. Rote was quick to claim 'ownership' as the constellation borders its sovereign space, but the Hordies and the Brave Newbies, as well as multiple entrepreneurs from the Phoebe Freeport Republic, have all claimed their own piece of the pie. Inevitably collisions have occurred and the constellation has become a sort of 'fun-havers-zone' between various groups of corporations.

I used to be in a learning corp where we were farmed for content. Since joining STIM I've learned not only how to be the farmer, but how to local source and harvest sustainably.

I used to be the alliance carebear. Then, thanks to some of our microgang pilots getting bored one night, now we have sov and the active PVPers are bigger carebears than I am.

As a newer player, I'm comforted when I get on comms and hear our cap pilots non-ironically discussing how many carriers is appropriate to kill an Omen Navy who thought he could go out solo.
