Greetings: I'm new-ish to Eve and new-ish to WH space. I belong to a corp that has a POS setup in a C2. Any time I board my Vexor, from some other ship, it suddenly takes a 21% hit to its shields. I can board any other ship in the Hangar and this does not happen. I put the Vexor away, full shields...take it out and the shields drop 21%, every time. Is this normal?

I seem to recall that this is the effect that your skills has on your ships shields.

It's not that you are taking 21% damage, so much as when you board the ship your skills are applied and they give your ship that much MORE shield capacity. That then has to regenerate normally.
