Player Features and Ideas Discussion

While I like the new map, I think it's trying to fit in too much information in too little space. These are my biggest issues after playing around with it for an hour or two.

• Clicking on a system/region/constellation and expanding it makes it very difficult to see systems around it. An option to disable it or at least a way to go back to the "grouped view" would help a lot. Optionally, bring back the separate windowed system view.
• Currently there's no way to see a stat other than the one selected under the "color by" menu. Adding customizable mouseovers where you can select a few stats to show up when hovering the mouse over a system would pretty much fix this issue.
• There are too many "color by" options where most of the bubbles are the same size. Tweaking bubble size thresholds should make this more useful.

They need to separate the solar system map from the galaxy map completely. Putting the two together was a horrible idea.
