Since practically all of the C5/C6 W-space is controlled by Goon/PL pets, why not let them build and bring their supers inside and hammer the final nail in the coffin for the rest of us, who miss the times when W-space was different than nullsec sov space.

You know what. Once they finish up with the citadels and the industry for them why not?

It has to be stuck there obviously but honestly it's no worse than people have 30 dreads/carriers/faxes in the hole imo.

For a guy who don't even know how courier contracts work, you seem to have an in dept view of how W-space politics work and who the players are.
Not to mention how "it used to be".

Maybe, just maybe, you made that tinfoil hat a bit too thick?

Then some groups would have 30 supers to fight off a 10 man dread invasion... May as well just let them build titans at that point

can't they already put doomsdays on their fortizars? What's the difference?

That's the whole point, to strip the attackers of any hope of invading your hole. If you have a Keepstar in your wormhole you're already near-impregnable and if you have supers docked in it you're just giving the attackers one less reason to invade your hole and saving them trouble, time and billions of losses.

Yeah one Doomsday ... thats the difference ... only one ... compared to a possible "many" doomsdays when bringing several titans. And since the attackers can still come with alot of caps ... there needs to be at least one mechanic on a keepstar (not a fortizar) - that alone costs more then 50 times then one normal cap, not even included with fittings and rigs - that allows to well ... defend against several possible caps.

That would be the same as to say "only one titan is allowed to bring in a big fight in nullsec, even if 500 people are fighting".

But yeah ... if supers would be allowed in wh-space, some entities would just build up a crazy amount of those ... and getting them out of their wh by whatever chance would take longer then goons loosing their entire sov.

Wanting to know the reasoning behind the "Are you sure you want to complete this contract" message doesn't necessarily imply I don't understand how courier contracts works.

TIL i am a goon/PL pet.

Allowing the defenders to have an advantage that attackers can basically never have would have a purely negative effect on WH space. Your justification of " its the same as ___" is flawed, because it isnt the same. Supers are a different breed than standard capitals. I dont see any positive benefit to this change, and when it was seriously suggested by Fozzie back in January we were very quick to stamp it out.

As mentioned in a third post above yours, defenders already have a massive advantage if they have a Keepstar in their hole. Now we can change the topic to whether allowing Keepstars to be built inside wormholes was a good idea, but assuming it was, then I think supers should be allowed in wormholes since one of the main purposes of Keepstars was to store them.

I still remember the days when it was "post with your main or GTFO" I want those days back.

And keep the supercapitals out of wormholes. They don't belong in W-space.

It would be fun to hunt and kill the dumb people that try and PvE with them. But it gives the defender way too much advantage.

allowing titans or supercarriers into wormhole space could make alot of good fighting and so many drama and tears the new armor plates already asks for wormhole totall mass increasing but thats is up to ccp if they would like this.

why no for supercarriers and no for titans
- too large advantage to defenders
- they could cause fall of low-end corporations taht occupy the c5 , c6 wormholes (blast them with supers ftw)
- could make ratting too easy

why let them into wormhole
- because they look nice , especially avatars and erebus for wolf rayet and leviathan ragnarok for pulsar wormholes
- with some aoe weapons sush bubbles from supers (they can drop bubble lasting like 30 seconds) so can get some short tackle
- supercarriers can use expensive way to one or two-shot kill dread or carrier/faux (shadows with true-sacrifice)
- harder to tackle by sleepers

to be honest allowing supers to wormhole space could make huge destabilisation and potentially kill wormhole space occupants and make them just supercarrier/titan hideout and evictions with those could be much easier , maybe too easy

10/10 i would like to see supercarriers in wormhole space with one exception the capital armor plates/capital shield extenders could lose 50% of functionality on supercarriers/titans in wormhole space

Titans that can bridge to any point in k-space! Yes.
