Shield/Armor Status not updating on HUD

I went to a combat site in 0.5 space and noticed that even though my ship was getting shot, my shield weren't dropping according to the HUD. then a volley of misses hit and I heard the low shield and low armor buzzers. I managed to warp out but didn't have time to see if there was some zone effect causing the HUD to not update or if it was a bug...anyone seen this problem?

It happens sometimes. If you restart your client, or if you view a planet in planet mode, it fixes the problem.

As the above said, its an old and rare bug, I've only gotten it once, however my HP's were dropping, but just not fast enough for what it was actually at (I was gonna die anyways, soo, yeah :P )
