Hi @CCP Fozzie.

Is it possible to let us know the break down of that number by security region (Highsec, Lowsec, Nullsec and Wormholes) please?

Thanks!

Citadels most likely go away unlike either humans or nuclei. But my guess is they are close to nuclei. Its not like they are going to wear out. They go away when someone happens across one and decides to destroy them, a sort of random occurrence.

But the entire issue of the thread is

1) Players: Citadels are tissue paper and go away too easily.
2) CCP: No they are not. Look at the low rate of loss; just 7% to 10%.
3) Players: But but but.... how many have been attacked?

So CCP, what is that statistic? How often does a Citadel actually drive off the attackers and survive? The issue is that they are tissue paper in that if someone wants to take it out, its easy to do so, and they cannot defend themselves in any meaningful way. We hardly have this case:

Yeah assuming it doesnt get aborted asap on its first placement. Tons probably float around highsec and owned null. But the true test is how many are owned by amall organizations in lowsec. The giant pawn me sign going up and giving people a 24 hour hour for larger groups to kick you up.

You're trying to guess two seperate numbers: the survival rate (from 0% to 100%) of Astrahus Citadels and the survival rate (from 0% to 100%) of Fortizar citadels.

Astrahus 62%

Fortizar 38%

I would be more interested in the statistic :

How many citadels have successfully fought off a serious assault....

My bet.. under 5%

Citadels only have the current survival rate because people haven't got around to blowing them up yet.

ROFL of course they wont... that would bring the entire charade tumbling down..

I RF one just for lols the other day with a small sub cap attacking force that would have died to a decently fit POS. The defenders had a defense fleet (of sorts) and the citadel was firing and jamming us. Our massive logi cruiser fleet of 3 !! just laughed.. Our Fleet RF the medium in 25-30mins with no losses or danger.

GG... what a joke citadels are.

I've only seen 1 citadel and we were there to blow it up. The survival rate is 0% from my perspective.
