Hurricane PVP Fit -- EWAR

Per 20-second cycle, this has a 50% chance of jamming another Hurricane, a 42% chance of jamming a Drake, and a 38% chance of jamming a Megathron (as a random example).

What do you guys think? Should I just forget about ECM? I really want to make an interesting ship by using ECM or turret destabilizers.

Are you going to brawl with it? If not I'd recommend a Warp Disruptor.

Thing is, you CAN use an ECM jammer, but it is not ideal. Problem comes in when you have more than one person shooting at you. You won't last 20 seconds in that case. You'll be hit or miss whether you can take down another 'cane. You will also become known as the ECM guy. You'll tend to have people blob you just on principal.

Yeah I was thinking it would be a brawler. Do you think hurricanes are better suited for longer ranges?

Is any fit capable of taking on 2 well-fit ships? I feel like you only have a chance when the other guys have no idea what they're doing.

A shield hurricane is almost by definition a kiting setup. A brawler would more than likely be armor fit. That would leave you more room for EWAR modules. In which case I would more recommend a tracking disruptor over ECM. Chance based Ewar is not as useful as something that is constant unless you are bonused.
