What about making clones a item kind of like an implant,

you can move a whole bunch (with implants in them) in your crane, move them to the new station where they sit in your cargo and then you can jump in and out of them using the jump clone interface. That way you can move them all at once. At the same time you could remote jump into them. So long as they were in a station somewhjere in a cargo bay,

This sounds distinctly exploitable (see #2) but I like it. It'd be nice if at least jump clones could be sent places by courier contract.
To counter JC invasion fears maybe JCs should *only* be moveable by the owner or by courier contract. Also, after they are delivered JCs would IMO still have to be installed through a rightclick in the assets or clones window, after which they could be voided by the station owners as usual.

Oh, and mobile JCs should be fairly bulky. maybe 30 m3 or so.

Can't the rorq do something a bit like this already, albeit for small numbers of toons at a time?

30 m3 bulky... lol
Something being so bulky you can move whole alliance of 10000 people in a single JF.

That's not bulky, 70k m3 would be bulky.

Can't use one in highsec, otherwise I would :P

Admittedly the only reason I want this is because I have 5 clones I move around alot worth upwards of 4b each! having to move 4 clones up to 30 jumps every couple of days is painful

Would be interesting.

Always found it funny that you can transport "frozen corpses" by the truckload, but when it comes to transporting a single "alive" clone, it's next to impossible.
