Well, +1 for trying to contribute helpful info to new players. There's actually a lot of videos already done by a lot of people so if it's something you really like doing, then go for it. However if it's not really your thing but you still wanna be helpful, you can view other players videos and inform them of any missing / incorrect info.

In my opinion to have a successful instructional video series, those videos need to be short, sweet and to the point. Mainly consist of basic info and facts about game mechanics.

I watched some of your video but it's way too long and new players will forget the stuff as soon as you go to the next topic. I suggest it be split up into different short videos, each one describing a specific aspect of the game for the new player.

For example station services, each service could be it's own video. That way new players can access specific info much more easily and more importantly they won't get confused by information overload.

Personally, my only problem with instruction videos is that I see them as a commitment to teach rather than a one-shot deal. Someone might make a video. It might be super good. But six months to two years from now, it will be inaccurate to one degree or another as the meta keeps changing.

So when you make videos etc, schedule a review every six months or so, to keep them from growing outdated and confusing.

Ill agree you have good options but ti put a claim as "the first new player video series/tutorial" is rubbish as i have a 40+ video guide on eve and have had for 6 months. I also make videos daily on eve from missions to go knows what else

The videos are listed as old because you simply use one search parameter i.e eve online tutorial

However, as a youtuber you've made one mistake which you shouldnt do n thats make longer than 20 minute video tutorial

but there is a refine search area for "this month" or "this year".

Fine, your video, is god awful, it pertains a crap ton of information, which players DO NOT need to know about, you don't even cover char creation, where are the career agents? Where is the talk about how PVE is the most important thing to do when you start eve to train small skills for pvp?
