Looks like they switched the crest url today. We need to update the program to fix. For now, go into settings and select the ignore svr updates box (or something like that...I can't view it right now). It will skip the crest downloads. Also, you won't be able to download live prices on the update prices tab.

I cant open the app to get to those settings, the program stops opening at 'updating industry facilities' then i get a pop-up saying 'Unable to download CREST data for Industry System Indexes Error: The operation has timed out"

Any eta until the crest link is fixed?

Can you open the EVEIPH.log file and post the entry from today? Some are having an issue with the updater for some reason and we can't figure it out.

Go to the install location and open the xml file "app settings" with notepad then change from true to false anything that has CREST. The new update works now but if it doesn't go through like the guy above me then you can try that fix.

the only thing i found was this

Try running with admin rights. I had that same problem on my first try as well.

I have the same issue as Stefan Cel Mare, I just installed today, and when i hit update it tosses and error then tries and again

Where would the EVEIPH.log file be found? I didn't see it in my IPH folder.

I found a EVEIPH Updater.exe.log but that was it

Can you delete the LatestVersionIPH.xml file and see if that helps? I'll re-build an installer file. I'm wondering if something got corrupted. Hmm...the EVEIPH.log is supposed to be created for that error. It's in the installation directory and where the program runs. Without that, I'm reaching right now.

Let me get a new build made and test the installer. Then I'll upload it and see if you guys can re-install and get it to work.

It ran fine for me. I had one error about the database being locked, but that might be my fault for killing the process a few times today when it was stuck updating. I re-ran it and it works fine.

The log file for me is located in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\EVE IPH\EVEIPH. That is on Windows 8.

OK put up all new files and rebuilt the installer and binaries. Do a reinstall and see if that helps. I should just run fine and not do any updates since they will have the most updated files but I'll try and put a fix up tonight for something else and you can see if it works or not.

love this tool. As with the rest however, I'm not able to update after redownloading the new build. log shows this

I had to remove the proxy settings update I put in the last patch. It was working some times and not others but now I don't get the error (which had no message, making this a fun time).

Turns out this was a data problem with the Citadel data (which btw had a lot of errors). It's fixed now with the latest version.
