If they are at a deep safe, then they don't pose a threat to you, now do they? You have to be on grid with them in order to get locked and shot.

Then I suggest you do your homework before repeating a list of the same old flawed arguments that are going nowhere. Unless local channel is changed you will get no change to cloaking and there are reasons even then why it should not be changed.

Your right to do something in space is only by accepting that there is a risk your ship might be exploded. It is up to you to ensure that does not happen by the use of intelligence, fitting, piloting, backup, location, tactics, etc...

So says a player who operates in cheap ships only, go on get in a Vargur or something like that and show us how real men do it against cloaky AFK campers.


To the OP, I know its got harder with the removal of the watch list, I used to use that to see what the cloaky camper had between his legs so to speak. Best thing you can do is go grab some cheap ships like this troll scrub uses and operate with them, its what I did and it at least means you do something in game.

Without any doubt the most boring real PvP in this game is to be dropped by a Black Ops BS fleet, it is only a marginal step up from hisec ganking especially if generated from an AFK blanket cloaky camper.

I have over the years posted suggestions about this and my favourite is an AFK flag for people away for more than an hour that gets flagged and removed if he does anything with the client. In this thread you saw them say oh his is afk what are you scared of, well when I suggested that, the AFK part suddenly mattered. The thing is that CCP is hoisted by their own petard in terms of the log off to escape combat or being hunted. One will see that a cloaked up Titan being hunted for PL will suddenly have a flag saying not AFK but that is OK if it stops AFK play from being rewarding by stopping people from doing stuff through significant unknown threat based on what can cyno in on you.

I don't like the fuel idea because I often got safe and cloaked up in systems without stations.

There is a AFK cloaky thread on features and ideas but it is filled with trolls like this one, post your suggestion on that. What you could do is de-sub for a couple of months, go and play another game and state your reason as AFK cloaky camping and go to town on people not playing the game having an impact and it is wrong.

You will find players like the troll having a go at people who mine AFK as being lame and the like but they then support AFK cloaky camping, its because they are prize A hyprocites and you are wasting breath and time even engaging with them.

So I enjoy solo frigate PvP, what does that have to do with anything? Yes, it is so much more manly to whore on code suicide ganks... Uuuuuuuu... So pro... So much wow... Teach me your ways master.

On a more serious note, I have done quite some ratting in lowsec for tags and encountered my share of cloaky cynoes. Do you want to know how I manage not to get caught? I fly fast ships and just don't get tackled. It's pretty easy...

But yes, it is even easier to come to the forums and whine.
