Ban Marmite's war history...

Marmite's War History
Stupid Marmite and their stupid war history...

Marmite's war history is so extensive, it consistently crashes my client simply for clicking the "war history" tab. Despite that this is avoidable by compensating with some forward thinking (minimize "past wars" through another alliance's war history before clicking on Marmite's) nothing done within the game should cause the client to hang for over a minute and, in my case, inevitably crash. CCPlease fix this.

I have decced Marmite to protest this insanity, which doesn't really make much sense considering it isn't actually their fault, but let's ignore that.

They should remove war history anyways older than one year. Same with killmails and corp history.

I like Marmite, they are fun to troll on the forums and in game, they lack a certain ability to catch expensive things, sort of like headless chickens

Can't we reach a compromise? You get to keep your corp history and killmails in your character sheet, and I get a special spiffy button that deletes permanently that unwanted information from my character sheet! A zkillboard keeps that info in their site for everyone to see.

I've heard about people with such extensive employment histories, that it crashes the client of anybody who opens it. Whether it's true or not, I have to say, it'd be nice to have things like that paged, instead of one long list. Forums get pages because they'd get insanely long otherwise, it'd be nice to have things like war histories and the such to get paged.

Let's discuss overhauling the way we get intel in EvE.

I hope they are never deleted, but it would be good to have a limit added to the number of entries from the database recovered and a button to pull the rest of the data if you want to see it.

That way, the client won't hang while waiting for the long history to be retrieved, but you'd have the ability to see full history if you wanted.

Have you considered asking an Imperium super pilot to petition this on your behalf? It's far more likely to be dealt with if you do.

Wait a sec... If you eliminate wars older than a year... What happens to an active war that is over a year old?
