I have read through the blogs but I had some questions :

If I'm in a citadel in a wormhole and In my ship and it gets blown up I lose all my stuff including the ship?

If I'm in a citadel in a wormhole and attacked by a much larger force can they bubble the hell out of the citadel so you cant escape or can you undock have time to log off and/or insta-warp away?

Need a large to dock a capital (Carrier) ?

Can you dock with a weapons timer?

Are POS's as they are currently going away completely any time soon?

No, unlike a pos, it cannot be bubbled around. They can't lock you because you are tethered and you can warp off.
Edit: sometimes you get stuck in the citadel when you try to warp off, this is very annoying.

POS's are not going away anytime soon.

There will be a transition period of a number of months... could even be a year or more as CCP have several more structures to implement before they can replace POSs. The 3rd structure - drilling platform is not coming until December.. and they have several more structures to implement after that. Only then can they replace POSs.

No need to panic until CCP outline the transition plan. You could put up a POS today and it will almost certainly still be there in December. (unless you get evicted before that Twisted

)

Tethering is automatic if your in range and not pointed?

So you can hang out in your carrier in the tethering range and you can safely log off and/or warp and attackers cant touch you?

If you safely log off does it put you back into the tethering zone if you log back in ? Is there a delay to tether or is it instant? (ie. can the attackers get you if you log in while they are camping the citadel?)

Don't know about logging off while tethered but you can warp off if you are not being bumped. And yes, you are insta tethered after undock.
