Hi. im not a very experienced nullsec player, so maybe this question is stupid and this will CONTAIN A WALL OF TEXT to clear my thoughts.

so i joined my first 0.0 corp/alliance a couple of months ago, and lived in drone regions, i always wondered why rats drop nothing, except u get some sentients ( which drop crappy bpcs) but the bounties where/are good , so i started the hunt for better ticks ( which bored me really fast) even salvaging turned out to be a waste of time, so i started to mine like an idiot, to pay for my pvp ships and pve ships and all that good stuff ( plex, injectors...u know the deal)
due to circumstances, i left corp/alliance , to join a friend in his corp which is located in fountain...so i saw my second 0.0 region in my carreer as capsuleer.

and it was like " dafuq is going on here? im getting spacerich in no time" i belt ratted cause like i said before the anom ratting bored me to death, and it was crazy, rats drop modules and bpcs and all kind off stuff , i usually reprocessed for minerals, a lot of hauler spawns, even more minerals, a lot of shadow sentients( or sentines cant remember) compared to drone regions sentient spawns, and those shadows dropped very nice stuff ( my best was a snake implant for 1bil) so i made about 300mio a day with simple belt ratting up to 1.2 bil a day ( drop luck) .

but me and my friend werent very happy in fountain ( very small corp/ally, bad organistaion, really bad pvp/homedeff) so we both moved back to the alliance i was in before, in drone regions, because better organized, more people and a lot of other factors...my friend then started complaining, why the hell do rats drop nothing , which lowered his income down to 20% of what he was used to in fountain ( which was his first nullsec experience also ). so he also had to run for the bounty ticks and the 10/10 escalations bookmark selling .
we also checked out gurita space , cause pretty close to our pocket ( but not safe anymore for us) and realized those pirate rats also drop stuff, like in fountain ( serpentis)

i asked a lot of people why drones are so less worth ratting, compared to other null regions...i didnt get a clear awnser from anyone, cause nobody knew ( except we was told rats used to drop mineral stuff back in the days)

so now my main question is WHY the hell evry other faction region is dropping **** like crazy+bounties enabling players to farm a ton of isk in no time, whilst living in drone regions is either minign like an idiot, or ratting hordes all day for 10/10 sales or doing evrything at once ( mining, ratting, exploring) to get at least some isk ( compared to other regions its still a joke) is there a reason im not aware of? is the loot table broken? are the escalations better? i dont get it. is it because of those chips for soe ships? ( which still is no good explaination) what the heck am i missing here? dont get me wrong im happy where i live now ( drone region) i like my corp, i like my ally, its all well organized and stuff...but the low income compared to fountain f.e. is a real bad joke. ( its stil 100 times better then highsec though)

As far as I recall, drones had special loot in the past that could be reprocessed for a myriad of minerals. What happen was that, due to the drones being mercilessly killed on a daily basis, there was a huge injection of minerals into the economy that was making Mining redundant.

So what CCP did was nerf the crap out of it and swore to never think about it again. Much like COSMOS missions and new Epic Arcs! The imbalance we have today is due to that.

Don't hold your breath for a fix. People have been complaining about it since 2012, imagine that!

well the problem is drone region is a big portion of eve space, and when u live right in the middle of it, its pretty hard to rat anything else but rogue drones, just because rthere are no other npc to hunt for isk. and i dont know about missions, i stopped mission when i reached L5 for amarr, cause they redundant and the isk income is not good ( if not to say crap). im no trader nor am i industrial , so i have to generate my income that way, because like i already stated in my initial post: stuff has to be paid somehow, u dont get ships for free just because ur avatar picture is nice XD if u know what i mean. and i dont even now if there are any existing mission agents in 0.0 ( didnt even look for that)

well no, im happy with the people in corp and with my ally. at least i get some content due to my alliance . and its not so bad , i get my iskies made , its just a little harder to accomplish. i just wondered why things are set up this way. maybe there is a reason im not aware of. might be economical issues/ number of players living in region or whatever ;)
thats what id like to know. plain and simple .

oh that must have been horrible.
luckily i stumbled over an officer the other day, corpmates had to kill him, cause i wasnt able to do it at all ( im no capital pilot nor do i own any superblingy rattle or whatever is needed to kill an officer)

so i guess drone regions must have been completely empty then? i mean who lives in a region whre u only can mine/explore for isk income?
so i am lucky i moved there nowadays :D well lets see what changes will come in the future .

but i still would like to know why ccp made it that way. must be some econoical issue im not aware of. i should do more research on this term. in some forum/thread/blog must be a statement from a ccp dev, about it .

Well, I forgot about one thing. There were drone alloys dropping from those drones, and they could have been reprocessed into minerals. But they were like bazilions of metric tons to haul. So at least that.

well we will see whyt changes will come up in the future. i was just curious , whats the reasons for things being like they are now :)
and i already heard a lot about the imbalance of the mineral market back in the days.
