Ok, so I warped in, cleared all the BC and below, but now staring at 9x BC that just don't want to give me 20 seconds to get moving. Shild is gone instantly, and I have about 45 seconds on the armor. Fitting below. Any suggestions?

Armageddon, Dildo Marksman 2]

7x Mega Pulse Laser II (Scorch L)

100MN Afterburner I
Barton Reactor Capacitor Recharger I
Tracking Computer II (Tracking Speed)

Armor Thermic Hardener II
Armor Kinetic Hardener II
Armor Explosive Hardener II
Armor EM Hardener II
2x Beta Reactor Control: Capacitor Power Relay I
Large Armor Repairer II
Heat Sink II

2x Large Capacitor Control Circuit II
Large Capacitor Control Circuit I

5x Hammerhead II

Look it up on eve survival. Don't omnitank if damage is too high for you. Did it np in a Napoc with T1 guns. No need for cap mods in lows, more room for heat sinks.

Without T2 ships or faction/deadspace hardeners there is no reason to omnitank. Check eve-survival for what exact two damage types NPCs will be doing in any particular mission and fit accordingly.
Omintanking is a bad idea for normal missions, cosmic anomalies and most exploration sites. NPC rats do specific types of damage, tank only that and get your resists much higher.

Drones and some mercenaries do try and do omnidamage but its still dominantly one or two types of damage. And you can always just refuse such missions.

Train for T2 cap rechargers. I don't remember if T2 CPR gives same as best named or not; if its better train for it as well.

Rig your ship. CBA to check it in EFT so I'd say either 3 large capacitor control rigs (and adding in a second LAR) or 2 CCC and one rep amount rig.

Have you tried running your armor rep, and shooting them? Possibly at the same time?

Well, I would try something more like this:

[Armageddon, lulzworthy]
Armor EM Hardener II
Armor Thermic Hardener II
Damage Control II
Large Armor Repairer II
1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
Heat Sink II
Heat Sink II
Tracking Enhancer II

Heavy Capacitor Booster II, Cap Booster 800
LiF Fueled I Booster Rockets
Target Painter II

Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch L
Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch L
Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch L
Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch L
Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch L
Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch L
Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Scorch L
[empty high slot]

Large Auxiliary Nano Pump I
Large Cargohold Optimization I
Large Cargohold Optimization I

Ogre II x5

First why a plate on a PVE fit? Well, assuming you really do take more damage than you can rep, you last longer, hopefully long enough to get the rat DPS low enough to tank. Second, the damage control + 2 mission specific hardeners is probably a better tank than omni seeing as em/therm should be the only thing in this mission, and you will have alot more time to warp off with a plate + DC should things turn nasty.

Why 2x heat sinks and a TE? Because they do tracking disrupt in this mission, though, not at the part you are having trouble with, but in this arc you need tracking computers or tracking enhancers. Why DHP instead of mega pulse? Better tracking and still has fine damage projection (47+9.8)

Why a cap booster? Because cap booster 800 charges are cheap as hell, or free to anyone with a noctis/marauder, and it is so much easier to fit damage and tracking when you don't need cap power relays. Likewise, the two cargo rigs should allow you to carry more cap boosters than are really ever going to be needed in an armor ship (shields tend to be a bit less forgiving to cap).

This thing doesn't have amazing range so an ab really is required, basically 50km or so. Why a target painter? because you are using Orge IIs, which while totally able to kill frigates do so much quicker when painted, but since the vast majority of your targets in this mission are battleships, it is far more worthwhile to use ogres, they do a crapload of damage, and aren't going to be tied down with tracking disruption.

Why does this fit look so messed up? Because the Apoc is a much better PVE ship.

Edit: BTW up close you can hit for over 1k dps with conflag and orges or with scortch you can do 841 dps with all level V skills, and do you really have t2 rigs on your geddon?

The mission becomes insanely easy if you bring a friend that can draw aggro while keeping himself out of range while you close in and blast the buggers.

No kidding. Missions become easier when you do them with two ppl instead of solo like it was intended.
