Oh dear, there is always 'that one' ^^^ Shocked

Unless it is meant as some sort of joke which just does not work in print, so to speak.

My apologies I missed the part where it was specified it is evemon not eve :(
Yes for evemon C# is a good solution in my opinion, and evemon is a good piece of software, i have been using it for years. To OP : good work !

And no, i would not use python or ruby for anything else than scripts :) I am a C++ hardcore programmer myself and I really hope they did not use C# for eve core.

iirc Eve was written using Stackless Python.

@OP, quite the coincidence that while at work today I happened to open EveMon to check on my indy alt's skill training progress.

EveMon is a handy tool. Glad to see it will still be supported.

It's clearly a joke.

Thank you for all the work you've done on EVEMON. I doubt if I would have played this game much if at all without it. Hmm, maybe I shouldn't be thanking you Shocked j/k

I still check my EVEmon daily. Thank you for the hard work and making a 3rd party tool that is amazing!

I'm in the delighted position to announce that Blitz Bandis will be the next EVEMon lead dev.

That said, I would like to ask you all to have a little patients until Blitz gets familiar with the EVEMon ecosystem.

Thank you all for your kind words. They were touching.

It was a pleasure being part of this great community, and supporting EVEMon was the least I could do.

Take care in RL ppl.

Till we meet again...

I'd like to join the rest of the community in thanking Desmont for his work on EVEMon these last 7 years. It has grown into a larger application and ecosystem and maintaining it is no easy task.

I've been playing EVE for about 10 years and EVEMon has always been the first third party program anyone would tell you to download when you first joined a corp. I'm excited to get started continuing Desmont's work and honored to be leading the project at the beginning of a major shift in New Eden with Citadels and the coming related patches and expansions. I'm sure there will be a lot to do to make sure EVEMon continues providing an excellent tool for informing decisions in our EVE careers.

Blitz Bandis,

Thank you very much for stepping up and taking on the position of EveMon Lead Dev.

It would have been a shame to no longer have access to this great application. I've been using EveMon for a long time and am now looking forward to using EveMon for a long time to come. You took a big step forward into Eve history and I wish you an easy adjustment to your new roles and responsibilities.

Thank you once again and gratz on accepting the position of Lead Dev.

Sounds familiar (though my own projects were small compared to evemon and everything else you did, by far)

Thank you very, very much for all that you did for the player and dev community!
There's so much that I could continue to create in the past only because you made SdeExternalsToSQL.

First post, to say I've always been a big fan of EVEMon, and in turn a big fan of yours. You've done a wonderful job with the tool so far. We can only hope, the person you choose does at least half that and it will still be a great and invaluable tool for all Eve players. I wish you luck in whatever you get into next and congratulations on winning the game. Farewell Mate o7

just here to say: thank you! EVEMon has always been mandatory. Maybe for some ppl it became less important with skill queues, I don't know. For me it was always the one tool to install together with the eve client itself, so take care, fly (or walk) safe and hopefully come back one day, without the urge to achieve more, just to hang around with some bros!

Thank you for this quality piece of an eve-life-enhancer! In love.. Cecil <3
