Out of Pod Experience

I work an incredibly boring night job, so when I have my workload done I either get to read, or sketch stuff (sadly, cannot play EVE there, lol.)

In any case, here's a new one, redesign of an older fighter sketch I did several years ago, link is to my Twitter page.

Trident Fighter


The Trident:

Not an EVE Universe ship per se, armed with two particle cannon in it's wingtip mounts, 3cm massdriver cannon in each wingroot (railguns) as well as kinetic-kill and plasma warhead missiles in a fuselage bay. Powerplant is two fusion reactors driving four thruster units, stacked over/under on the port and starboard side.

Pretty much do these freehand with writing pen on whatever i have handy for scrap paper, maybe one day i'll get around to buying and learning a tablet, otherwise---old school.

A damn fine sketch, please do more.

Well, I was going to put this on my deviantart account, since i apprently still have one, but it hates the world right now. And photobucket is chock full of ads and crap now that i wouldn't subject yall to that.

Trident and Internals

This time I tried my hand at some of the internals, port side fusion reactor and drive thruster assembly, and the port side wingtip particle cannon, never tried doin much internal componants before, but that was fun. both sketches are enlarged for better viewing, lol.
