I'd like to learn to pvp and I was hoping to get a general direction to go in. My skills are heavily in Gal ships and then hybrids and drones naturally. I know I need to spend some time getting to know the overview and Dscan and I'm doing that now but I've only played Eve briefly several years ago really so anything I knew (forgotten) doesn't apply now I'm sure. I've played briefly in null way back and honestly it kind of sucked living out there 30 jumps from anything.

So I'll probably be looking to do FW or RvB but I've no idea what to fly or how to fit anymore. Tristans and Vexors perhaps? Also all of the youtube vids and guides I'm finding on my own are years old are there any newer ones that are more applicable now?

Rvb i hear are good, check the sticky about newbro events being put on, eveuni have(or had im not sure) some events on that would work well as an orientation.

If I recall correctly RvB is no more and was disbanded a while ago.

However FW is definitely still active and viable.

I've been told that RvB is alive again. Perhaps not to its former glory / under different management, but it just refuses to die.

Easiest way to get into action is via joining Pandemic Horde or Karma Fleet. [Obligatory "TEST is recruiting."]

A bittervet friend recently told me he was leaving his major nulsec corp for PH, because PH was having more fun.

Ahhh, good to know. Thanks for the update.

In my opinion RvB is better than FW anyway since it doesn't ruin Faction standings.
