Along with all the other idiot replies one of'em even called me a troll, another said get over it, and none of them comes even close to getting it. I should not have to do anything to remove an obvious marketing tool from my hangar. Three accounts, paid yearly, it's my damned hangar and I should be able to customize it to my tastes, not CCP's.

No, not gonna quit the game, but this is my last forum post, too many idiots per square inch for my taste. The idiots can flame all they want, I'm fire proof in my absence.

Forum Rep for a bunch of characters, couple corps and one seriously Lost In Space multiboxer.

Well, hate to see anyone leave the forums over something like this.

Since he's not coming back, some advice to others that have spoken up in support of him. I don't see anyone here that is saying that such an option shouldn't exist, just giving options or humor on how to deal with it.

Yes, in the forums you can get called things like "troll" and in the original posters above quote calling everyone that didn't subscribe to the intensity of the dislike of the 'feature'... "idiot".

If those are indeed obstacles for your enjoyment or use of the forums, then yeah, probably not the best place for you. Friendly, always safe door is this way...

However, for those of you that are actually interested in opinions that aren't your own, and possible solutions, as well as humorous non-solutions from arguably useful sources, stick around a while. You may get peppered with adjectives you don't like but you will also find gold in many of those opinions. Whip out your sifting pan and take in a whirl of dirt and see how much gold you can find. You'll have to get through quite a bit of dirt... sometimes.

This thread really belongs in feature suggestions (an option to turn off the billboards) but since it's here in General, it is subject to a lot more dirt than it might be in other forum areas, so WHERE you post something can have an effect on the feedback you get.

Just some forum tips, no insults intended. I have the boppers on, I swear!
